Happy May Day! Lots of exciting news at the Breast Implant Center of Hawaii. Our new surgery center at Hale Pawaa has just completed its 40th surgery at our new Mommy Makeover Center of Hawaii. In May of 2012, we have begun our new Saturday morning clinic for Oahu. This Saturday morning is dedicated basically to the liquid facelift and the injectables that make up the liquid facelift. We are also there to see patients who are unable to come during the regular work week and who would like consultation with Dr. S about surgical procedures that they may be interested in. Case Study
A 37-year old comes in having had Botox in her forehead 2 weeks ago in another state. Although her forehead looks smooth, she has a wrinkle above her outer eyebrow on both sides. This raised eyebrow makes her look quizzical and she is not happy with it. She was seen in my office last Tuesday to find out what went wrong and how it can be corrected. Diagnosis: The patient’s previous physician did an excellent job of injecting Botox in the middle of her forehead, but failed to put it laterally above the eyebrows on both sides. This is a very common error and leads to almost a surprised look. Treatment: 10 units of Botox injected just above the brow on the outside can get rid of these wrinkles and give the forehead a very smooth and youthful look.

Dear Tired,
Radiesse, which injected on the cheekbone, and under the eyes can temporarily improve and sometimes totally correct baggy eyes, but only for a limited amount of time. This works very well until you’re ready to have surgery.
