Breast Hawaii

Breast surgery in Hawaii for females routinely consists of breast augmentation, with or without a breast lift; breast reduction, with or without an implant; and for males, a breast reduction with liposuction of the chest and sometimes direct gland removal.  Over 50 percent of women have fat in the front of their armpits, referred to as the tail of spence.  This was breast tissue around the time of puberty and by age 20, has turned to fat.  At the Breast Implant Center of Hawaii, we routinely suction this out at no extra cost; the reason being that breast cancer can occur in this area and, very often, people forget to check this area until its too late.  Fat in the armpits also aesthetically detracts from a well done breast augmentation.
